Child Care & Youth Programs:

• Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) – Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Program (Wayne & Monroe Counties): Provides supplemental nutrition assistance to children up to age five, as well as pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum individuals. • MDHHS – Emergency Relief for Home, Utilities, and Burial (Wayne & Monroe Counties): Offers emergency assistance for home repairs, utility payments, and burial costs to eligible residents facing financial crises.
   

Employment & Job Training:

• Michigan Works! (Wayne & Monroe Counties): Provides job search assistance, resume workshops, career counseling, and training programs to help individuals gain employment or advance their careers.

 

Education:

• MDHHS – Children's Special Health Services (Wayne & Monroe Counties): Offers support for children with special health care needs, including access to medical care and educational resources.
   

Food Assistance:

• MDHHS – Food Assistance Program (FAP) (Wayne & Monroe Counties): Administers the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), providing eligible residents with a Michigan Bridge Card to purchase food at participating retailers.
