Our Story: Planting the Seeds of Change
The Tree House Foundation was founded in 2012 with a simple but powerful vision: to create a supportive, sustainable network where low-income families can thrive. What began as a small initiative in Florida has grown into a self-sustaining nonprofit that now reaches 70 communities across 10 states—always offering services free of charge.
Our journey started with a deep understanding of the barriers families face—lack of access to resources, financial instability, and limited educational opportunities. We recognized that breaking these cycles required more than just short-term assistance; it demanded long-term, community-driven solutions.
From a one-person operation to a dedicated team of staff members, countless volunteers, and over 25 community partners, we’ve built a foundation rooted in collaboration, empowerment, and sustainability. Through education opportunities, food security, critical needs assessments, and housing support, we provide families and seniors with the tools they need to not only survive but truly get where they want to go.
As we continue to expand, we remain committed to our core belief: when families are given the right support, they can create lasting change for generations to come.
Join us in growing stronger communities—one household at a time.
